Connections: Random coincidence? Or Artist's Vision?

"Line by line, here a little, there a little, " the poet/ess  prophet/ess or priest/ess makes connections for those who can hear, only hinting and leaving breadcrumb trails for those who are seeking to find. Conversations are like that for those who, like me, are shy in crowds unless on the stage, bimah, or in a classroom  As a student. you might catch the thread of an idea, make a connection, and hope you are following, or if you are the presenter, you try to involve everyone at their own pace, hopefully spinning enough threads for the curious to follow.

Recently  returned from two weeks of back-to back conferences, one of which I attended  primarily to learn, and the other, to replenish myself while sharing my wares, I began to think more about the  filaments we weave when trying to make friends, learn, and connect.

We might look for patterns, random or planned, discover what was already there, listen, connect, back and forth, in and out, discover wildness, different styles of gardening, neat and precise as a Fibonacci sequence, or wild and beautiful and natural with hidden logic, waiting to be discovered, a tantalizing rhythm so different from our own, and yet, familiar.

I like to think that the Eternal planted within us the curiosity to follow the "breadcrumbs" planted in Nature to lead us to the light.
