Miriam the prophetess, the Torah says, took her timbrel in her hand and led the women in song after the Israelites crossed through the waters of the Red Sea to freedom. This golden headdress, replete with musical symbols and bells, honors this brave woman who was so sure there would be a miraculous redemption that she took the time to pack her tambourine! The blue stones represent the Israelites and the waters which surrounded them. Please note; I have run out of these exact blue stones but I will come as close as possible to the original.
Wear this kippah to your Passover Seder and feel bold, brave and visionary, like Miriam!
(This kippah will stay on your head without comb or clips, but if you are dancing, you'll want to add bobbypins, OR wear your hair woven in and through the open part of the design!)
