A friend gifted me with a roll of vintage, cream colored lace. For months, I wondered what kind of kippah I'd make with it. Then, I looked through my stash of charms, and found the one to repurpose for this lovely gold wire, filigree style woman's yarmulke.The entire OOAK (one of a kind) headpiece is a nod to Victorian hat and clothing styles. Yet, the fact that it appears on a kippah, which used to only be worn by men, strikes me as delightfully modern!
