A friend of mine loves hyacinths, and grows many varieties, one of which inspired this sparkly teal and burgundy crystal kippah. I've tried to represent the feeling of wonder I experienced when seeing these flowers for the first time, blowing in the unseasonably warm breeze that September day in Canada. A single, central "bud" of rose quartz is the demure focal point for this otherwise dramatic representation of lush nature. A one of a kind piece!
